  Plenty of issues are brought up in cases where having on HIV testing is done. Plenty of people do agree on taking them but some reject the idea as personal thoughts and opinions. Such occasions include as below: - refusal due to demographic factors such as older age, female sex, higher income, and being married.  - recent negative test - perception of being at low risk     ~ due to being in long-term monogamous relationships     ~ due to abstinence or consistent use of protection since the last HIV test - feeling sick - don't want to know their status - confidentiality concern - potential strain on the relationship - prefer to test with primary care physician - perceiving HIV tests as something abnormal  Throughout all of that, plenty of actions has been taken to minimize the risk of people contracting the disease as it will bring down the quality of life of a said person. Having HIV/STDs is not the end of the world. People with HIV should not be isolated or removed from society as they are also humans who have feelings and should be treated equally. With proper care and treatment, HIV patients can live like healthy people. Taking antiretroviral therapy (ART) -  if you were diagnosed with HIV, you should seek early treatment and take medicines like ART to increase your immune system.  - ART may not be a cure for HIV, but it does help to control the virus, live a longer and healthier lifestyle. - It also helps to reduce HIV transmission to others.
